Answering Machines can be easily added to most telephone systems.
Answering machines are an analogue device. (Even if they say “digital” on the box, this only refers to the method of recording, not how it plugs into your phone - this is still analogue!)
Answering machines are connected to your phone system via a number of methods:
- Directly to your main line (uses no resources on your telephone system).
- An independent analogue extension (allows users to call forward their extensions to it).
- Slaved off a digital phone via an adaptor (does not use an extra port on your phone system).
The exact method used will depend on your requirements and system configuration. Please speak with one of our consultants to have the best solution built for you.
